I tried it and Delorme Street Atlas 2003, since then I have bought Street Atlas 2004 and 2005. I find it easier to use.

If you go to This site and enter the address it will display a map of the area and the Lat/Lon will be displayed on the left side of the screen.

After reading the Bellsouth part I might be having the same problem I have A Linksys Wireless router and a westell modem with service provided by Bellsouth! I have found that if I bypass the router it works fine, hook the router back up and I am toast. I will see if there is a setting for the packet size..... We shall see. Well did not even get to post this one before I decided to try to adjust the MTU settings of the router and I am now back in full working order!!!!

For about the past week I have not been able to log a find or set up new PQs. Everytime I click the submit button I wait and wait till I get page can not be displayed. I thought at first I was having another issue with XP SP 2 so I removed that, nothing. I disabled my firewall, nothing. I cleared all temporay IE files, nothing. I used firefox thinking IE is a piece of junk, nothing. I am at a lose at this point.

I used one of these recently on a prisoner escort in Miami FL, they call it the Hertz Never Lost. I came to call it the Hertz Ever Lost.. This thing tried to take us down one way streets drive on a road that dead ended at a river but told us to keep going straight and pick up the road on the otherside. I finally broke out my trusty Geocaching GPSr and my Laptop and used it. I did notice that there was a way to put in the LAT/LON. It was under the find location search area of the system.

I just created one and it ran in about 3 minutesor less.

I went out bought the targus power adapter for my Dell it plugs directly into the PowerPoint, Cigarette lighter for you smokers. I have several different "tips" that I can change out and charge my cell phone and PDA. I also do a lot of air travel and the little thing can plug into the PowerPoint on airplanes also.

You can use the pocket query feature.

I have finally found out why mine were not bieng generated. You need to agree to the license agreement. Go to the PQ main page click on view the license agreement then click on the I agree button and they will generate in 10-20 minutes!!!

Your not getting your in your email. My PQ's are even reunning been there for almost a week and never ran.

I have been having trouble wiht the Pocket Queries. I set one up a few weeks ago like I always have in the past and it has never ran. I have set up several other on diferent days with diferent options and still nothing.

When did you get pulled over and given a ticket you did not deserve? Everyone hates us Police Officers till they need us, then we are not there fast enough for you, but on the day your late for work and speeding and we catch you, you get upset that we caught you. I don't need you to thank me for the job I do, I don't care what people think, I don't do this for the glory and certainly not for the pay, I do it so you can be safe. If you don't like the way I do then you come do my job and see what you think then! Now I am venting so this should not be off-topic!

I was not having a good day at work till I decided to slack off a bit and log in to read some posts, then I saw the above and it made my day!

I have been pulled over on the Military Post I live on for the same thing, luckily I am a Military Police Officer and it was not a radar detector. The worst was when I pulled up to one of the gates on the Fort and was accused of trying to get the GPS location of the gate so I could pass the info on to others. I guess I will have to tuck it away when I am on the post or coming up to the gates.

As a member of the Army the only ammo can I would open in Iraq is on a military base. Find a cache off post it could be the last one you open, too many people would like to place explosives in them and remove a few Americans from Iraq.

Another thing to try is take a pencil eraser and rub the contacts with it. The contacts where the cartridge fits in place. This is trick of the trade in the Army on all of our radios, clean the contacts on the radio and the mic and the darn thing works. I have used this on some of the printers in my office and it does work on a few sometimes it is just time to get a new printer.

I would say last to first, unless you have allready got the coordinates or all the caches you cant put the first on in place without have the coordinates to the last one.

I just downloaded a bit of software by Clayjar called Watcher. Just install the software and run a pocket query, selecting a GPX format and you in business. I have only had it for a few days but so far I am really impressed! You can download it at http://www.clayjar.com it’s from a Cajun so it has to be good!!!!!

And it is beacuse of people like that we have warning lables on products. Like batteries have do not swallow and McDonald,s coffee has Caution Hot! Let one of them get hurt and they will say if they really ment to close the park there should have someone out front to actually say the park is closed .

If anything they may have you turn it on to show it is a working device, not something that has been modified to carry an explosive. I have carried mine and my laptop everytrip I take someplaces have turn them on some don't.

Well I do like the banners and images, but I have ADSL and the speed is great. I images are are problem for those on dial-up open your internet options click on advanced then scroll down to multimedia. Now the easy part uncheck the show pictures. No more images. Now the rest of us who want them can have them.
