WOW! Thanks for the info people! The numbers and contacts will come in handy. I think that once they find out that geocachers are nature friendly (the most part) they will ease up, plus knowing the more visitors they will get. In the past week I have seen more places around my home town that I didn't know existed till now, beautiful places, plus the great exercise I got! How many of you believe in telekinesis? On my second cache hunt my GPS (Meridian Gold) said One Foot and pointed to the right of me and I looked down on the ground to the right of me and about a foot and a half away I could see the blue of the cache under the thick grass. One thing was: this was in the wide open no trees no cliffs, nothing but open grassland. One of those things I bet will never happen again, but I thought "dadgum! I love this GPSr!" I call it beginners luck! How many of you believe in telekinesis? Raise my hand...

I have only found 8 so far but I go with a fellow cacher and when one finds it he doesn't tell the other until he find its, makes it more fun and we feel like we deserve to both sign the log book. How many of you believe in telekinesis? Raise my hand...

I too have never paid for a site before, but it didn't take me a few days after I found this site and did 8 some finds to where I decided to join, I did it to help out the owners. I have two websites one makes me money but the other is an information site and it's the one that takes all my time, with no money intake at all. I know how it is to run a site. Plus if I remember right this site has 4 machines to run it and that takes a lot of work and $$$ to keep them running. I love this Sport!!! I have so many ideals for some great caches I can't wait to get them out there! How many of you believe in telekinesis? Raise my hand...

It's worth the try to post it on here and maybe just maybe at least some people will see this thread and say, oh my I can't keep it for my self? I bet a lot of cachers don't know you have to "grab" it or log it that they took it. A lot of missing ones probably have been moved to a differnt cache but if it hasn't been logged no one knows one is in there. When I place mine I hope I don't have to put it(them) in the grave yard before it's time! How many of you believe in telekinesis? Raise my hand...

It did the same to me, what you have to do is log out then log back in and it will have the updated information on it. I know this is an old thread but I thought I would let others know incase it happens to them too. How many of you believe in telekinesis? Raise my hand...

I have not set out one yet on a journey, but soon will after my tags come in. I think it's a great ideal. My first one will be to see where it goes, how many different caches it visits plus how many states it visits. Just my 2 cents worth.

I'm going to go to Germany in June, if anyone has a travel bug that you want to go there let me know and we can have it start working it's way to me in Missouri.

I just bought a Merdian Gold and I'm a newbie. I was wonder what tips and or ticks anyone might have for this unit. Seems to be a very good unit can't wait to go out and try it.
