I heard about it on the travel channel about a month ago. I want to try it as soon as I saw it but I didn't have a GPS. Lucky for me my birthday was coming up, my girlfriend got me a Garmin 60Cx. I got on April the 8th we did a few then I told some friends about it and they got hooked. My buddy just got his girlfriend to buy him a Garmin on Friday. We go every chance we get. I contacted Guinness World Record to see if they would let me attempt to set a world record. I want to see how many caches I can find in 24 hours. Please send them emails telling them it would be great to have that as a record. If we all email them encouraging this it might happen. Ok now I found the Magellan eXplorist 500 LE. Is this better than the Garmin? Does anyone have either of these and can you tell me what you think? I have to decide before tomorrow. Please help.

Also I go out of the country a few times a year to Asia. Is there a gps that comes with world maps or do I have to pay to download them? Does this gps do world wide coverage?

Is this a good starting gps? I am getting one from my wife for my birthday and found this. I need something no more than two hundred dollars. So is this the best for that price or is there something else?
