Hmm! seems that there are 1 or 2 problems to be overcome. However these aren't insurmountable, question is is it worth it? I think that a database / list of contacts would be a useful resource to have, if there's enough interest I'll have a go, unless someone more web savvy wants to take it on. I'm no expert when it comes to web design! If the interest isn't there then we can kill it at this stage. Another possibility would be to use Yahoo groups, not as an alternative forum to this, but just to use the database, file upload & chat facilities that they offer. That might be an "off the shelf" solution. What are your thoughts? DaveH

Fair comment & in that light, I am happy just to list the info that you are willing to submit. As a minimum this would need to be your Geocaching Name & mobile number. I do need an email address to send the link to though, this would be just for my use & not made public.

I am in the process of compiling a phone directory for our local cachers. It has been suggested to me that a national list might be more useful for that "phone A Friend" moment. I don't know if this has already been done or suggested, but if not I am willing to give it a go. The list will contain, Real name, Caching Name, Personal Email Address & Mobile phone number. Home numbers can be added on a voluntary basis. The list is web based but is only accessible through a link which I will email to you when you are added to the list. This is to give some element of privacy, only the people on the list can view the list. If anyone is interested in being included, drop me a line davidharrison@bpss.demon.co.uk

Well, the MM series has taken off, there are now 25 in the series in just a couple of weeks. There are now caches on the M1, A1, M62, M4 & M56. Which side are you considering, North bound or south? I only ask as Alice Band has already approached me about placing a cache at the services.
