For those of you who have upgraded to 2GB microSD cards for the Garmin GPSMap 60csx, 60cx or 76csx, 86cx series - do you have any performance issues when loading it up? My 60cx is on it's way here and after doing a bit of reading it sounds like I need to purchase the City navigator NT v8 software (another $130 - why isn't this included???) to get a GPS unit that is actually useful in turn by turn navigating similar to the units in a rental car. If I load the whole North America NT set on the SD card - are there any performance problems noticed? Any other issues? It would be nice to load all the maps once and not worry about it no matter where I go. Thanks!

Cachemate works great on my Treo 650 so it should be good on the 680 as well. The only thing I'm not sure worked was using the Cachemate export out of Gsak. I used the conversion utility supplied with Cachemate to convert the GPX file into a PDB file that the Palm OS can handle. But the Cachemate software itself works.

Hi all, I had never heard of geocaching until earlier this week - stumbled on a mention of it on a different website and decided to see what I could learn. SOUNDS LIKE FUN!!! So in the last 2 days I have a)got a membership to Geocaching.com b)ordered a Garmin 60cx c)downloaded Gsak and d) did pocket queries for caches for three main town in SD that I go to. GPS will be here next week (already shipped so hopefully Mon/Tues). Play with that for a bit to get the idea of it. And then off I go! My wife doesn't think too much of the idea yet...but I think it will be a good activity to get out of the house and put a few miles on the ol' motorcycle this spring. The only question I have so far is what kind of goodies are common to leave in the cache? Can you guys give me a few ideas so I am ready for the first day out? Thanks!
