  1. I've got my Garmin Venture Cx mounted to my bike handlebars with a mounting kit like this one. I'm still using the original cover for the back of the GPS since the one included with the kit doesn't work well but I've been very satisfied with the results.
  2. While driving home from work a few months ago, I was passed by a Corvette with the license plate "FTF 001". Now that's a cache I wish I'd found!
  3. There are a lot around here in Georgia like that. They seem to do pretty good. Like this one (now archived)
  4. There's a way for you to check your coordinates on the listing page. Go there and check your answer. You'll at least know that you've correctly solved the puzzle.

    PQ Virus?

I run two weekly PQ's, and tonight one of them got caught by the built in antivirus software. The email read: "Your AT&T Yahoo! Mail Virus Protection detected the virus 'Malformed container violation' in the file '1831260.zip', attached to the enclosed email message. We scanned the file using Norton AntiVirus but were unable to clean it. Therefore, we removed the content of the attachment from the message. Please contact the message sender if you want to receive the attachment. They must clean the file and resend it before we can deliver it to you safely. AT&T Yahoo! Mail successfully cleans most infected attachments, which protects you from viruses." I have a hard time believing that infected PQ's are being sent, but has anyone else encountered this?
  6. I had the same problem. For what it's worth, I'm using Firefox. I don't know if the browser makes a difference or not.
  7. A cache in my area had been (temporarily) archived due to snow cover. With the warm weather and rain we've had recently, it's now accessible and I found it last week. I signed the log, but sent the owner an e-mail prior to logging my find. If they told me not to log--fine, no big deal. I just figured that it would be better to work things out beforehand. BTW--they told me to go ahead and claim the find. They'll reactivate eventually.
  8. I got the same message as many of the rest of you. Websense is blocking those darn malicious websites. Thank goodness I've got them to protect me from...whatever it is I've been doing.
  9. Done. I find that I'm in good company.
