  1. I kind of hope that oscar gets slowed up a bit. It's no fun when someone takes one through 4 states. Are there still any in the event cache? kc row, row, row your boat

  3. Version 2.03 is now available at Garmin's website. I'm still waiting on the upgrade to 1000 waypoints! Not that I need them but it would be good to have. kc row, row, row your boat

  5. I only have 19 finds so far but I can see that it could get to be a pain in the neck once I get up to more than 19. Does TPTB review these forums occassionally or do someone have to send them a thread? I realize that they are busy and are in the process of making/refining other improvements. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't want to bog them down too much. Stress is a killer you know. kc row, row, row your boat

  10. until it was pointed out by the canucks. What exactly were you looking for? Some one to stop by your house and hold your hand while you are escorted to a usable site? If you put the address up on a post, I'll convert it for you to gps coordinates. Oh well, I guess you can't please some people! kc row, row, row your boat

  12. You can just post a note to the cache. This doesn't count as a find but will allow you to pick up the little bugger. kc row, row, row your boat
  13. Do you want everyone to do this???? kc row, row, row your boat
  14. I've also bought a couple of cables from GPSGeek. Well worth the CHEAP price that he charges. Clone cables aren't inferior just cheaply made (only $ not quality). Another plus was that the cig lighter power cable was coiled. That keeps the extra from cluttering the car up more than all of the other trash in my civic. Also, I've used ClayJar's watcher program to filter the pocket queries to give me caches along a route from my house in Virginia to my parents house in South Carolina. It was a total of 130 caches. I couldn't Imagine manually entering in each of those. kc row, row, row your boat
  15. http://coolnerds.com/html/colors/colorlistalpha.htm http://htmlgoodies.earthweb.com/tutors/whatwithwhat_allhtml.html These are useful links. The first on is most (if not all) of the colors that html understands without using RGB hex code. The second is all of the HTML commands that are available for IE & Netscape. kc row, row, row your boat
  16. Apparently there was another folder that had an identical image. It seems as though if you click on a picture link on the travel bug page it is in one folder (img.Groundspeak.com/track/) and the picture that is displayed on the travel bug page is in another (img.Groundspeak.com/track/display/) I called Groundspeak again and got Elias to delete that one too. There is also another directory that has the thumbnail picture (img.Groundspeak.com/track/thumb/). Thanks to all who helped and to the almighty Jeremy and Elias for striking down those offending pictures. Well this has taught me a valuable lesson. Take your time and do it right the first time!! Attention to details!!!! ps. Thanks to all who could have but didn't move my travel bug all over. kc row, row, row your boat

  18. Is it still in your temporary internet files? You might be seeing a "geocached" picture. I couldn't see it on my computer. kc row, row, row your boat
  19. I got ahold of Jeremy via the phone number on the Contact Us page. I guess I just got lucky and got the top man! I checked the picture again this morning and its gone. So if someone can still find it, let me know so I can call again to see what's going on. Thanks all for not screwing with my bug. kc row, row, row your boat
  20. Just got off of the phone with Jeremy and he said that he would delete it. I know that he's busy so we'll see how long it takes. kc row, row, row your boat
  21. That's pretty neat. I sort of knew how things worked but the explanation of how the receiver finds the distance from the satelites told me how the expensive models can get centimeter accuracy. Atomic clock anyone? Thanks for the article and another website to waste my time . kc row, row, row your boat
  22. Hampsters rule!! Your suggestion worked out great after I got an atlas that had the coords on it. It took a little work but it's done now and I'll have the list in my GPs until I don't need it anymore. Thanks a lot! kc row, row, row your boat
  23. Thanks for making this program. I just finished putting togeter a list of 130 caches near the interstate using your program. I'm going to see my parents next month in SC while I'm in VA. Suggested by The Leprechauns (http://opentopic.Groundspeak.com/0/OpenTopic?q=Y&s=1750973553&a=tpc&m=4730943455&f=3000917383):I just set up some pocket queries around four towns on the way. Then used the coord limits filter to just get the ones around the interstate. It took a little work but it wasn't nearly as hard as going through each one. I have downloaded the list to my GPS and will always have a list of caches along the way. Thanks a heap!! kc row, row, row your boat
  24. After I deleted a picture for one of my travel bugs, it is still there. Not on the travel bug page but you can still access it if you know where to look. Is there a way to permanently delete the image from Groundspeaks database? kc row, row, row your boat
