  1. Just bought the Garmin GPS 62s. Me? I wouldn't pay the extra $100 for the t as it has topo maps of the 100k which are 100 feet wide rather than the 20ft on the 24K. You can buy that software later if you so choose for less down the road. I'm a bit disappointed that they are now selling the "must unlock" software with licenses to only be on one computer and one garmin unit. I think they are getting selfish as they (Garmin) continues to lead the market. The units are pretty expensive and if you have bought 2 for a family you are now having to buy software for each unit. Before you rec'd the ability to put it on 2 computers (ie: desktop/laptop) and 2 units (ie: his/hers or two different units that you may own). I still need to get used to it. Took it out for the 1st time today. Had fun with the many features it has, the bigger and harder buttons (my 60csX buttons finally tore off) and the new slide on for the holder rather than the ever loosening button on the back. The slight different size/shape appears to mean I may have to also purchase new stands for it though. Not unexpected. Okay, I did some comments. Didn't do a lot as I wasn't sure how it was going to work on the downloading of them. I have a DROID and I can do a lot with that out in the field but today I gave my new toy a whirl. Back online, I cannot find a way to download the comments and the "finds". Was it just a feature on the GPS to keep track and not a way to come back to the computer, hook up and download? Anyone?
  2. I have one bug that has put on 15,903 miles so far. "Give A Dog A Bone" is now in Europe. I woke up this morning to see this wonderful surprise. Anyone else have a bug with lots of miles?
  3. It also works well with steroid prescriptions (I use Betamethasone Dipropionate ointment). <- that is why I mentioned this steroid. I forgot you had goats Bill! Hmmm, always looking for fresh goats milk to feed to my german shepherds. I buy it by the gallon when I find it...last year bought 10 gallons. With fresh goats milk and that great plate of venison, let me know when I am invited to dinner.
  4. You have to use ZANFEL like a degreaser for your garage driveway. When you apply it, it will draw up the oils. If you have it really bad, it will relieve you for a couple of hours, until more of the oils break the surface and the reaction begins. At this point, you are supposed to reapply. Like a degreaser, it will continue to draw up the oils, until there is none. If I have the ability to do the process, I am over it within a day, 2 at the most. If not, when I can do the process, it relieves me and eliminates the PO a lot quicker than if I hadn't used it at all.
  5. As I posted prior: for me, Technu only works IF I catch it as soon as I get back to the truck and rinse with it. After a couple of hours of contact with PO, I need to wash off with Technu and a cool shower. Otherwise, I'm sunk. Break out happens almost immediately and I'm unto ZANFEL. The only thing that works for me once I begin breaking out.
  6. There are encrypted hints. GCMNKF Up The Mountain I do like the idea of putting in a message about not leaving TB's in it. Will do! Thanks.
  7. I used to use bleach, but no good. I get it so bad I blister and ooze. This does take it away. It also works well with steroid prescriptions (I use Betamethasone Dipropionate ointment).
  8. I own a puzzle cache that I thought was not a toughie, but I guess it is, for many reasons. So I need some advise. First there are bugs that have been stuck in it for awhile. My good friend Sarcrzy is going to go and pick them up/exchange them so that they can get going. Thank you so much Sarcrzy for not only keeping an eye out but making me aware of the situation. Because it is a tough puzzle, the bugs are stranded like a remote cache. So sorry to the owners, but they will be on their way soon. What is the best protocol and is there any way of making it easier without giving it away. Fizzy I think you had some suggestions. I like my first puzzle cache and would like to have more traffic. I have put some nice stuff in it as well.
  9. Got the rash? Got the itch? There is a product that will take it away. Really, it works! If you haven't heard of it, it is called: ZANFEL It is over the counter but since it is quite expensive, some pharmacies will order it for you. Normally takes a day. Many do have it in stock as well. Check your neighborhood pharmacy. It ranges in price of $35-50 per ounce. They also have a website: www.zanfel.com As I get PO just by thinking of it (already beginning to itch writing this post), I vouch for it.
  10. A beautiful day of hiking among many trails. Along one, I begin to hear whispers that draw me near. Shiny and elusive, the calling is too great to ignore. Precious! I need to be rid of this power, so great. Gallum is scared off by Bear and I am able to safely store it away.
