  1. Hi All, Sad news that I must share as many of you know them, Vic from Tricky Vicky & Mickey passed away last night after a battle with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jill and family at this time. RIP Vic you will be missed. Bryan and Gabi (Pixel & Possum)
  2. Looks like it was a great trip, sorry I missed it. Going for those cache was the 1st time we took our 4x4 off-road I will try and keep my eyes open for the next one. BTW: For those with 4x4's this might be of interest to you, I am on the organising body and have done 4 of the trips, truly a super thing to be involved in: Be a Blessing 4x4, where we arrange around 15 drivers with 4x4's and take a group of under privlaged kids out on a local day trail. read more: http://www.facebook.com/groups/159901184022187/?view=permalink&id=258829287462709#!/groups/159901184022187/ Contact me if you are keen,
  3. Thanks Gr8Scot for the post. Spot on MnCo a cookie delete was required although for some daft only MS knows why reason I had to do it twice..... least I can now read beyond the headers.
  4. Congrats to Gr8scot on Flyin past your 100!! Thanks for your on going contribution to my caching knowledge, especially with regards to technology and paperless caching. Here's to many more
  5. No worries, I didnt take it as a slate and thanks for the compliment on the cache. Our caches are very slow in the making but dont worry there will be more.
  6. Perhaps I need fill in a bit more detail on the caches page around the reasons for the name. The event mentioned was quite an event, a birthday, a meeting of friends from around the world, an announcement of an engagement. Also the cache was put together in a friends garage, another helped place it (if you have done it you know the work involved) Possum even ended up on crutches for 6 weeks as a result of placing the cache. So the name was changed from a Generic "River Side Stroll" to somthing that had more meaning, corny as that may be .
  7. Thanks for the wishes, indeed it was a great end to an AWESOME trip.
  8. "But for the most part, the HTML export from GSAK, is the best way to get to the paperless caching. I have exported to HTC, iMate, Nokia, and Samsung phones. If the phone has an internet browser, it can view the info." I have used HTML exports from GSAK on a bog standard Sony Ericsson Z610i. DL updates before you leave and you can browse even if you dont have cell signal. New phone is a 5800 express music, I read on the web that guys are using it for caching but I have yet to load it.

  21. 1st prize would be to hand them to local cachers but if that wont work then posting would be a good option. If you are keen to be posted a TB and undertake to place it soon in a cache then please email me with your name and postal address. Much appretiated Pixel
  22. Hi All One half of Pixel and Possum is in the UK from South Africa, she brought some TB's over with her but due to circumstance has been unable to place them in caches. If you are keen please mail me with your email address and I can put you in touch with her. Many thanks & happy caching Pixel
