  1. We use this tactic on one or more of our caches When this occurs I will be archiving them...
  2. By night caching, do you mean: caching at night (ie looking for normal caches in the dark) or finding night caches - caches specifically set to be done at night usually involving a trail of reflectors Although you need a good torch for both, it's not the same thing Mark
  3. Good point! The iPhone app used to do this as well Logging a find early in the morning would log it as the previous day (not sure if it's fixed now as we don't normally log that way) Mark
  4. The GSAK macro MultiAndAllFinds.gsk will do that
  5. Yeah I thought about that after I'd posted it. I got carried away in the 'excitement' of spotting the problem Sorry Mark
  6. Here it is! Just Northamptonshire #078 Mark
  7. I'll have a look but I've noticed that you've also logged finds one some caches more than once Is that expected?
  8. GOT IT!! You've logged a find on one cache twice! I was just looking another cacher's stats and the same thing happens Mark
  9. GSAK and FindStatsGen has to be the best because it's so flexible There's probably oodles of web pages with instructions on it but here's a cribsheet I wrote for a couple of local cachers and they got on with it fine... Mark
  10. Thanks for the suggestions I've started a list: Cycleable Serieseseses The idea is that they are best done by bike or intended to be done by bike Lets see how it goes... Mark
  11. I'm looking for cache series (plural) which can be easily done by the average cyclist on a 'traditional' type of bike ie not a mountain bike No stiles or kissing gates and no deep mud (but a bit won't hurt) If there is no such list I'll start one but and if anyone fancies making suggestions that would be great! Type of trail eg canal tow path length number of caches anything else of interest Thanks Mark
  12. That's a list of the reviewers... I was asking what all their caching names are.
  13. In that case what are all the existing reviewers' alter-egos? Mark
  14. Water of Tyne (Tyne & Wear) maybe? Published 10th June 2001
  15. When a non-premium member accesses a PMO cache they get the message: So why don't Groundspeak change the page to say: ??
  16. My thoughts exactly! We've recently set all ours to PMO to reduce the amount of maintenance. I like this! Mark
  17. VERY good point! A couple of years ago had a perfectly valid 'find' deleted by a CO and I contacted a reviewer asking if it could be reinstated. The reviewer said that it's up to the CO and reviewers don't get involved... Mark
  18. Although it's well known (there are several ways actually) I wasn't aware it was supposed to be common knowledge. I presume a CO of a PMO cache is allowed to delete logs by non premium members if they feel that way inclined... Mark
  19. Can someone please tell me the work-around (please PM or email to FollowMeChaps[at]hotmail[dot]co[dot]uk) as previously I've arranged to downgrade my premiums so non-members could log them then revert them after - this will save me this fuss. PM on its way
  20. It is possible for non-premium members to log PMO caches if you know how. It's a 'bug' which Groundspeak are fully aware of and have allowed it to remain to allow, for example, children of premium members to log finds. Mark
  21. In that case, it's probably one of Wrighty's He's got a history of placing caches well in advance of publishing them! Mark
  22. Dorking's 3Ws: Westhumble Semiotic Cache has just been found 1506 days since last find on September 10 2006 Was this UK's longest gap between finds? Mark
  23. A bit of a long-shot, but do you recall the date and name of the last entry in the cache's logbook? Mark
  24. Has anyone tried writing a Wherigo to view/edit Oregon Field Notes? Would it even be possible? It would be very handy Thanks Mark
