I would suggest trying the free maps and seeing if they provide what you need. Most likely they will. But if they don't, then you can always take a look at the paid maps.

Did you select a day for it to run? Does the PQ show that it was generated? Does it show up in the "Read to be Downloaded" tab on the PQ page?

The Garmin eTrex Venture does not support displaying the additional cache data on the unit. Is it a straight Venture or is it another model such as the Venture HC? If it is the Venture HC, then you will be able to load some of the information to the unit (but not all of it) but using Pocket Queries, GSAK (a software program on a PC), and Garmin's POI Loader and loading them as Custom POIs. Alternately, you could use an inexpensive (older) PDA such as a Palm and load the Pocket Query data that way.

If you just purchased it and it's not turning on at all with fresh batteries, I would take it back to the store and exchange it.

The c:geo application violates the Terms of Use (TOU) of the Geocaching.com website. You cannot get assistance for it on the Groundspeak forums. Please contact the application developer. Or you can use the apps (as noted above) that do not violate the site TOU.

What email provider are you using? Some have been know to block or throttle emails from Groundspeak and Geocaching.com. You might try a different provider and see if you get them. Even if you don't receive the email if the PQ has generated, you can download it from the "Ready to Download" tab on the PQ page.
