  1. Well, I think that has solved the mystery! Now I know…. Thanks everyone! 😺
  2. It is on the official app, near Minising Ontario Canada.
  3. I am not sure what this icon means. I’m just curious. Can anyone help? Thanks.
  4. Hmmmmm....me too. Guess I'll go and try to get the code too!
  5. When using the difficulty, terrain filter the search only filters for difficulty, not terrain. Tried a 1.0 difficulty, 3.5 terrain search came back with 1.0 difficulty caches and all terrains (unfiltered).
  6. All great features , Gill & Tony. I agree, it would be logical for Groundspeak to provide one so that it would be consistent. I would especially like to see the "fudge factor" option included.
  7. I'd like to put my two cents in.... I do agree with TimenPatricia. I think that an easy cache is in the eyes of the beholder. If I am going to travel an hour or more to then hike in a kilometre to get to a possible location, I'd like to have some assurance that I was in the right area. I think that if I have done the work solving a cache then I will go and find it. Many of the cache owners who have not chosen to include a Geochecker are gracious enough to confirm coords by messaging, in my area, since many are deep in forest tracts. I have also had others who don't respond to requests. It becomes a safety/legal factor. You don't want to be wandering unnecessarily around a forest or on private property, etc. (As previously stated in others' comments). Either way, having a Geochecker as a requirement for placing a puzzle cache is a good idea in my opinion. "Three tries a day" rule is fine by me. P.s. New to posting. Thanks for all the interesting thoughts!
  8. Vacationing in U.K. Still down! Glad I checked the forum..... I thought it was something I was doing! 😜
  9. thanks. I usually have my sidebar collapsed, so I didn't see it. duh... Thanks! You are not the only one who had the same issue.
  10. I think that displaying DNF's in one's profile would be a great idea. I would like to take it a step further. Make it a dynamic number that would change as you find a previous DNF or log another. For example, if you logged a DNF, then found it a month later, your DNF count would go down by one to reflect the found, "unDNF" cache. I am unfamiliar with the computer codes needed and I don't know if this would even be possible. I'm not afraid to log DNF's. I think they are important information for cache owners and other Cachers. It would be nice to have a feature like this available to all members.
