Danke

  5. Yep, looks like we are down again. Can't upload an image, and can't visit an existing waymark.
  6. Well it looks like we are down again; I cannot visit an existing waymark, nor upload photos when creating a new one ("There is no image with that ID...").

  8. It was an OK diversion. Kind of disappointed, because I may have tried out a couple more hunts, but I have no desire to pay to play.
  9. I'm wondering if all these different experiences people had are due to using geoguessr on different platforms/browsers. I haven't checked to see if the UX is designed identically across all possible platforms/screen sizes.
  10. No, not really. Other geocaches or Adventure Locations are not 'stages' to a Bonus cache. A Multi is not a Bonus cache. And, I didn't say they ARE ALRs, I said "its 'ALR'-style format". You can find a Bonus cache without finding the other caches first, if you have the coordinates, but the intent is that you find the other geocaches/ALLs first, to get the information needed for the Bonus. A LBH is not a Bonus cache, and a Bonus cache therefore cannot be a LBH.

  12. Geocaching HQ has partnered with the Geological Society of America (GSA) to offer some suggestions for EarthCache hiders. The blog has the information, here.
  13. This is happening yet again. Whatever's being done to fix it isn't sticking.
  14. Mount Washington Web Cam. You can drive up Mount Washington, though it is an expensive toll road.
  15. Hmm, my experience was different I think - after I guessed the first Steetview location more or less correctly on my first try, the dogtag appeared at the top left of the following page (the page that said my answer was correct ) - then when I moused over the dogtag, a Trackable code was revealed - when I went to that Trackable page & logged it as Discovered, I received the souvenir right away. I decided to continue playing until I guessed 10 locations correctly, then another different Trackable code was revealed at the final page, and I logged that 2nd Trackable as Discovered too. But I didn’t need to guess 10 locations to receive the souvenir, I already had received it . (While continuing play , each time I got a correct/close enough location, the dogtag appeared at the top left, and each time it was the same (first )Trackable. I played on a laptop so maybe that is the difference? (I actually didn’t pay much attention to the subscription award notice, since I don’t need it)
  16. So finding stages to get the cache is an 'ALR'? Really? Bad news for Multis then... Plus plenty of Letterboxes take you to multiple locations before the find, that's kinda the original idea of what a Letterbox is. Think you have over-reached a bit there and are trying to brand a long-standing core part of the game as an ALR in order to try to justify what is just a poorly thought-through decision by HQ. It isn't consistent with other rules of the game, and serves no useful purpose in terms of advancing people's enjoyment of geocaching.
  17. Today added Falkland Islands with nine finds.
  19. @GeoCharmer81 thanks so very much for the 2 lovely coins and the easter themed log books...
